Toy museum makes hats from paper waste
Tartu Toy Museum (http://www.mm.ee/) has found creative ways of utilising paper waste provided by Kroonpress - by making paper hats from old newspapers and using paper reels as rolling canvases.
In the play and workshop rooms paper is a commonplace raw material for creating new toys or just playing around with. The discarded newspaper reels are hung on the wall and once drawings cover the hanging paper, they are rolled down to reveal new fresh paper. The finished paper is then used alongside discarded newsprint for creating other items such as pretty hats. Reusing reused paper - heading in the right direction!
